We began work with Coalson Plantation in summer 2007 when they were in the process of undergoing a full name change. For a resort so rich in history (the property was originally purchased in 1825, establishing a new identity that held true to its roots while still conveying a fresh look was a challenging task.
We began with a new, interactive website that would showcase the beauty of the location and allow users to request info and special event information. We designed new stationary, menus, and brochures for their guests, while also running a high-frequency newspaper campaign aimed at filling the restaurant.
The campaign was a large success. The restaurant was fully booked nearly every night it was open, and frequently had guests speaking about their next visit before completing their current stay.
The website receives WORLD-WIDE traffic, with an average of 1,800 views per month (more than the local newspaper website). Subscription to the eNewsletter is already in the hundreds (and growing daily), and wedding and special event requests are at an all-time high.
