In late 2002, Franceschi Advertising & PR was hired by Gulf State Community Bank to evaluate their marketing and advertising efforts. We analyzed their existing marketing and made a report to the bank’s Senior Management with our recommendations.
Our plan was two-tier. We started with a total update of the bank’s image, consisting of a total brand identity package. Then we followed this up with a roll-out advertising program, introducing the new look to the bank’s market through a variety of media.
The implementation was a tremendous success. Deposits grew $67,987,000 or 102% in the four years following the new identity introduction. Compare this to the $16,654,000 (38%) increase experienced in the four years prior to the implementation of the new corporate identity.
